Go gunned down three birdies against a bogey to close out with a 36-33 card at the par-71 layout, finishing with a 54-hole total of four-under 209 that included a lead-grabbing 66 in the first round.

But the Filipina bet stumbled with a 74 in the second day, enabling Thitikul Atthaya to grab the lead with a solid 66 with the young Thai ace sustaining her form and saving her best for last with a flawless eight-under 63 highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 12th.

The recent youngest winner on the Ladies European Tour totaled 14-under 199 to run away with the gold with P. Thitapa completing an impressive 1-2 finish by the Thais with a 206 after a 70.

Harmie Constantino and Junia Gabasa matched par 71s and ended up at sixth and No. 15 in the 21-player field with 215 and 223, respectively.

Rupert Zaragosa fumbled with a 73 for a 214 and wound up ninth in men’s play ruled by Hamamoto Kosuke, who capped the Thais’ sweep of the event with a 203 after a 68.

Singapore’s Marc Ong shot a 69 to clinch the silver at 204 while another Thai, N, Kammalas, took the bronze with a 205 after a 68.

Paolo Wong finally broke par with a 67 and finished 12th at 217 while Carl Corpus wound up 14th with a 219 after a 74. Jolo Magcalayo skied to a 77 and ended up 24th in a field of 40 with a 228.

Team Phl, however, vowed to bounce back in team competitions which start today.
