The 1 st NGAP Jungolf Tournament held at the Negros Occidental Golf & Country Club drew participation from 58 children of members and caddies from NOGCC, VGCC and BGCC, training under JR Tanpinco, Bianca Limjap and Bebot Santia, a press release from NOGCC said.

Emerging as winners in the three categories were: Rollin John Blanco NOGCC in Class A; Alex Agustin of VGCC in Class B; and Gabriel Umadhay of NOGCC in Class C.

The tournament was the closing activity of the Negros Occidental Jungolf Golf Foundation that aims to develop among Negrense youth the love for sport and to build a solid foundation for their future golfing endeavors, the press release said.

Organizers hope to make the program a quarterly event that the children can look forward to and develop their competitive skills, the press release added.*
