2016 ASIA-PACIFIC SENIOR AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

The Philippines will host the 2016 APGC Senior Amateur Championship on November 16-18, 2016 at Alabang Country Club, Inc.

There will be a qualifying series to form the Philippine Team composed of 6 players who must at least be 55 years of age as of November 16, 2016.

The qualifying series will be as follows:

1. April 25-29, 2016 at the Orchard Golf & Country Club. This will be held in conjunction with the 2016 Philippine Amateur Match Play Championship. There will be a special division for Seniors with the top 8 players qualifying for the Senior Match Play Champion.

2. June 15-17, 2016 at Summit Golf & Country Club. This is the 2016 Mid-Amateur and Seniors Championship.

The above are stroke play competitions.

The top 6 players will form the team on the following conditions:

The best 3 rounds out of the possible 5 rounds will count and the average score of the player must be 76 (4 over par) to qualify for the team.
In the event that the six (6) slots will not be completed, the committee has the option of holding another series of qualifying rounds with the same criteria, and if the 6 slots cannot still be completed the Committee reserves the right to appoint the player(s) in the best interest of the team.
